My Story
Today
I’m currently the Senior Director of Creative & Art Curator at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. For the past 17 years, I’ve led creative conceptual planning for Omega’s expansive range of learning initiatives serving an annual audience of 22,000 participants. Partnering with the executive team, I lead the creative process and bring fresh perspectives to highly visible projects that are unique, multi-layered, and engaging.
I built the in-house Media Design Department and direct the team responsible for creating and maintaining the organization’s visual brand online, in print, and on Omega’s campus. Drawing on my studies in contemporary design in Denmark, I infuse the projects I lead with a strong sense of balance and a modern perspective.
Niche Expertise
I enjoy virtual space design. Most recently as “show design director” I designed and created custom genre lounges, gathering spaces, and pavilions for the Edelweiss + Above the Treeline Virtual BOOKFEST live online.
Educational program packaging and marketing are areas in which I have a deep history. I’ve developed, designed, and produced promotional materials, venue environments, and signage for dozens of high-end conferences in the Hudson Valley and New York City. I lead a team that designs and produces marketing materials, annual reports, and strategic plans for all platforms. I’ve promoted educators and thought leaders that include Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Elizabeth Lesser, Panache Desai, Bobby McFerrin, Sally Field, Pema Chödrön, and Jon Kabat-Zinn among so many others.
My clients have included the YMCA, 365 Media, Edelweiss+Above the Treeline, Wiley, Norton, Scholastic, Blue Spirit—Costa Rica, The Sophia Institute, BINC, Daimler Chrysler, Cushman & Wakefield Global, and many others.
Yesterday
For over a decade, I owned a boutique advertising agency in Hoboken, New Jersey, which served a diverse group of global corporate accounts. My firm designed brochures, signage systems, building logos, and multi-level sales presentations.
As one of the pioneer gallery owners in Beacon, New York I curated exhibits for my gallery that included works by artists of note, including Robert Motherwell, Alice Aycock, and Robert Rauschenberg. My gallery LoRiver Arts in Beacon was featured regularly in the New York Times.
Ongoing
I continue to enjoy expanding arts accessibility at Omega and in the region by curating pop-up art exhibits that educate and inspire. In the community, I serve as vice president of the board of directors of the Women’s Studio Workshop.
Always seeking spontaneous beauty, I enjoy traveling and photographing raw landscapes as often as I can.
